About the Collection
Mirth Studio, known for its luxurious, colorfully patterned hardwood and porcelain flooring, recently expanded its product offering with rugs and carpet made from 100% New Zealand wool.
Designed from founder Sally Bennett’s original artwork, and with her commitment to a healthy and sustainable environment in mind, 100% New Zealand wool was the obvious fiber of choice for Mirth’s newest collection. With the encouragement of the Campaign for Wool, Mirth is now poised to be a confident newcomer in the world of wool.
The Campaign for Wool is a global endeavor initiated by its patron, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in effort to raise awareness amongst consumers regarding the unique, naturally renewable and biodegradable benefits offered by the fiber. Known for its substantial environmental credentials, wool can benefit the home in a myriad of ways including: fire retardancy, acoustical properties, resilience and health benefits. Ease of maintenance and long lasting beauty are but a few of its many attributes.
Mirth Studio and the Campaign for Wool are working in tandem, through beautifully designed rugs and carpet, to demonstrate how wool is the best choice for the modern lifestyle that we live today. Manufactured in North Georgia, Mirth Studio area rugs and wall to wall carpets will be available in early Summer.
“Wool is not only one of the oldest fibers known to mankind, it is also one of the most beneficial”
