Our Environmental Standards

Recycled Quality Materials

  • Our planks are made with a High-Density Fiber core. The HDF we use is recycled Recy, from excess hardwood veneers used on our flooring, we then mix it with a water-resistant resin and press it.
  • This engineered wood product can be almost 2x harder than other wood flooring products and also can be up to 5x more resistant to moisture when compared to a laminate or other wood products in the industry.

Keeping Dangerous Chemicals Out of Your Home

  • Our products have been tested to be Phase 2 Carb Compliant for lowest possible air emissions and there is no added formaldehyde to our products.
  • Our wear resistant, ceramic top coats and stains are water-based and UV cured to protect air quality. Our adhesives meet the highest standards for air emissions. We can guarantee that there are zero VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).

GreenGuard Certifications

  • Our products have achieved GreenGuard Certification and are scientifically proven to meet some of the world’s most rigorous third-party chemical emissions standards, helping to reduce indoor air pollution and the risk of chemical exposure.

Ethical Lumber Sourcing

  • The raw materials used for our flooring products are sourced only from managed forests. Our lumber is purchased from suppliers that have active reforestation programs, and share the same ethical values of environmental responsibility. Only a portion of mature trees are cut, leaving other mature trees for seeding purposes, and smaller trees for future logging. We do our very best to source our raw materials in the United States.
